The BEST month ever !

Yes, its true. We have officially had the best month ever since starting the business back in 2006.

Over the past three months we have been working hard on developing new areas of the business and have now secured some good contracts and are continuing to expand the little empire we have. We have a number of online marketing campaigns underway, all of which are doing well.

The industry has been under quite a lot of pressure lately, we have seen some alloy wheels distributors and manufacturers go bust, a performance exhausts manufacturer has also been forced into administration and many others are struggling. Luckily for us, things have not been quiet, infact we’ve had too much work on so certain sites have had to be put on the back burner as work for customers has been taking up most of our time.

The modified car scene has definately changed over the past few years with the price of petrol going up and the police cracking down on the illegal cruise scene. Not that they are the only factors but they have played a big role.

When we first got into the modified car scene we were amazed by the amount of different products available, things such as body kits where once a big thing and custom body styling. Nowadays alot more people are getting into the Motorsport side and spending more money on engine tuning and performance car parts.

Is your advertising actually working ?

Since the credit crunch (if you can call it that) hitting the UK, alot of companies have gone into a bit of a panic and have stopped spending money on advertising or have made some major cut backs.

Many companies are feeling the pinch and have seen a dramatic decline in sales over the past few months but from what I am seeing, no one seems to be doing anything about it other than panicking.

One thing that you must NOT do at times like this is to stop advertising, without that surely things are going to drop off a bit ?

Surely at a time like this though its worth taking the time to assess your advertising.

Are you monitoring where your business comes from or are you advertised in that many places you dont know?
