Well, another week over with (kind of anyway).

The sales leaflets were finished yesterday so we collected them this morning. We have also made a nice arrangement with the printing company. I noticed they did not have a website and mentioned to them that we could do them one. They had a chat about it and have decided to go ahead. We are going to design and maintain their site for them in return for £500.00’s worth of printing which will be made up of leaflets, letterheads and business cards. This has been a godsend, no money has to exchange hands and both parties get what they want.

Networking is excellent, theres so many avenues to go down and i’m sure this won’t be the first time we do something like this. Actually, this is not the first time. The VW Racing Team we are sponsoring are giving us advertising on the car in return for webdesign and maintenance.

We popped to a customers today to collect a cheque and have a chat about the website we have been working on. Since we made their site more search engine friendly their ranking has gone up by about 29000 positions. In time their ranking will get higher and higher as long as they stay on top of it.

Our search engine optimisation is really working for people. There must be five or six websites now that we have managed to get on page one of google for certain search terms. This is something we have picked up over the years. We can almost guarantee to get companies on page 1 of google. In our eyes google is the biggest and best search engine in the world and is the only one worth being on.

We were asked last week to design a new logo for a new taxi company in Newark, this has been finished and we are just awaiting the approval. Looking at the local competition our prices are very reasonable and so far it looks like our prices are the best in the area. Keeping an eye on the competition is a must at ALL times. We got a shock yesterday after making some enquiries into what other people charge.

We are both coming in tomorrow, there is always something to be cracking on with. Olly’s finishing an online shop and I am going to sort out the data for next weeks sales and marketing campaign. The MaxxDirectory is under construction and should look completely different soon, when I say different, its having a complete face lift. We are confident that businesses will love it.

Its an exciting time, everythings still going well. Lets see what next week brings.
