Maxxd Marketing

Well, what a day, its gone really fast. I’ll make the first days post I think (Dave)
A quick run down of today:

• Princes Trust GRANT application had been sorted out and everythings in process.
• Olly has sorted out the printer that was playing up which has allowed me to print some invoices off.
• We have managed to get yet another client on page one of google for certain search terms which we are over the moon with. >>>> CLICK ME
• We have organised a meeting with a local business today, Olly will be spending a day there helping them with their IT and website this week. They have advertised with us on the Directory

• I have been speaking to Radio Mansfield today who have interviewed me over the phone. Ian asked us things about the past with Maxxd and what we intend to do. I also emphasised that we want our regular slot back. The interview will be played on the news in the morning.
  
  
• I have also emailed the CHAD with our business story as they have done alot of stories in the past in regards to the car club and i’m sure they’ll be doing an article about us.
• A trip to borrow a hoover turned into a potential new customer who wants a website designing and some marketing work doing. Should be a few hundred pounds worth of work.
• Olly has smoked two cigarettes today where as I have only had one, it was my last one (HONEST)
• We have had some server issues which Olly has been staying on top of all day, nothing too major we just have alot of webspace, looks like we need alot more. I can remember when our hosting was £6 per month, its now approaching £90. CRAZY.
• Source are launching a new venture which sounds very exciting and will take boats to another level of entertainment. The sites not done yet but i’ll put the link in for when it is. >> Source Marine <<
• We have organised to have some flyers designed by another company for our marketing campaign. It sounds mad but I will always get other firms to do our design for our own stuff as I feel they will do a better job as we spend hours and get too personal with it. It will be nice to see how other companies approach the task and interpret what we want.

What else is there? I think thats about it. We have both learnt alot today. Theres so much to do, but hey, we are doing it at last.
