As cool as it is to see pictures and stories about cars with tens of thousands of dollars put into them, it is fun to hear about a car that the average reader could build in his own driveway. I think the Mk3 Golf is an excellent platform to use for a project car. As for the Vento front end, I say do it. It seems to be a popular trend in the scene. In my opinion, this is the kind of projects people will like to read about.
